Our Friday link of interest is Photographer Robert Lopshire.
Flemington, NJ and the Hunterdon County Veterans Alliance sponsor a Memorial day ceremony at the war monument in the town square. This year, a photographer by the name of Robert Lopshire from Frenchtown, NJ attended and snapped a photo of a “proud Marine”. According to his web site, he had to leave early and never got the name of the Marine. Well, imagine my amazement when I received a phone call from him and then received the link showing the photo. Not a bad looking Marine! I want to thank Robert for the photo and for supporting our troops in attending the 2007 Memorial Day event in Flemington. Maybe we can make you the official photographer of the Hunterdon County Marine Corps League Detachment 927.
