Friday Link of Interest - Bugles Across America

The Not For Profit organization Bugles Across America was founded in 2000 by Marine Tom Day of Berwyn, IL. At that time Congress passed legislation stating that all honorably discharged veterans of our Armed Services had a right to at least 2 uniformed military personnel to fold the flag and play taps on a CD player.
Bugles Across America was formed to take this one step further, and in recognition of the honorable service veterans provide to our country, Bugles Across America felt that every veteran deserved a live rendition of taps played by a live bugler - not a CD player or a digital replacement.
Today, Bugles Across America has over 5000 bugler volunteers located in all 50 states and a growing number overseas.
I have had the honor of being a member of Bugles Across America since 2001. I currently serve as the North East Region One Director responsible for volunteer efforts from New Jersey to Maine.
