Planning Board meeting last night
We had our rescheduled Planning Board/Board or Adjustment meeting last night. Unfortunately, we did not get to memorialize the Pizzo and Pizzo development due to further review and modifications.
We did memorialize the Camelot Ridge (Heights of Lebanon) resolution which allowed the minor subdivision of 374 square feet owned by John Lotito of the Lebanon Cheese factory to be conveyed to Camelot Ridge, LLC. For those that are not aware, this was an issue that has been going back and forth for quite some time - I am pleased that all parties involved were able to work out their differences and get to this agreement.
The bulk of the evening was dedicated to a special presentation made by Scott Mihalick of the architectural firm SSP. Not many in attendance as we had hoped but some very good insight and questions from the Planning Board for us to ponder. One specific question posed was what impact this would have on our valuable but limited sewer capacity - something we really did not address. I will have the powerpoint presentation uploaded to this and the official Borough web site once I receive it from SSP.
After review and recommendation from the Environmental Commission and further review from the Planning Board a motion was made to to move forward with Princeton Hydro on our Environmental Resource Inventory (ERI). The ERI is a must have element for our Master Plan revision and in essence should have been completed many years ago. But due to time, money and will - it was never completed. I am pleased that we are moving forward and we are one step closer to our Master Plan revision. The Environmental Commission will undertake this endeavour and should be completed in 1 year at a cost of a flat fee of $11,000.
The Master Plan sub-committee was formalized and members include Dr. Chris Uchrin, Mr. Jeff (soon to be Dr.) Paull, Councilman Gary Quick, M Paradis and Sue Lachenmayr as alternate. I look forward to the day when our Master Plan is resolved and updated so as to remediate any further builders remedy lawsuits and plan a vision of our community that will serve for many generations.
