Clinton Twp - Billboard
A few days ago I posted about a proposed billboard that was to be erected at the Raceweld Welding facility on the outskirts of Lebanon Borough. Last night was the Clinton Twp Zoning Board meeting where expert witnesses were called to testify how and why the billboard should be placed there.
Coastal (the company erecting the billboard) had an expert witness to discuss for 2+ hrs about light, lighting, “sky-glow” and lumen. Ironically, their attorney was none other than our former Borough Attorney in 2004, Susan Rubright.
I have to give the Clinton Twp Zoning Board credit - they were professional and asked very pointed questions.
I had to laugh when the question was asked “What would the light spillage be if this billboard is installed”? The expert witness stated to the board to let them install the billboard and let us show you the amount of light spillage we may/may not see.
We shall see how this progresses - the next meeting dates for this applicant are June 25, July 23 and August 31 (if needed).
